COVID-19 Bioanalytical Support
02 April 2020
With the unprecedented COVID-19 outbreak YBS is committed to providing the best possible customer service for all clients whilst protecting the health and well-being of our employees and their families.
We implemented our business continuity plan in early March and have put in place a number of changes to our business practices to ensure we can continue to provide the highest quality service for our clients.
The measures we have put in place include:
- Enhanced cleaning, hygiene and social distancing procedures for all staff
- Implemented shift systems at each site (with no physical cross-over between shifts) to reduce staff numbers on site at any one time
- Ensuring staff work from home wherever possible
- Restricted visitor access to our sites, only allowing critical contractors on site, at specified times
- Stopped all business travel
- Working closely with our suppliers to ensure the uninterrupted support of studies
These procedures will help protect the health and well-being of our employees and their families. We are closely monitoring this rapidly evolving situation and will be following the latest official guidance and advice.
We are currently not experiencing any delays in our in vitro ADME, metabolism and bioanalytical services and we have supported a number of new clients with their critical projects in the last couple of months. We have experience with bioanalysis of antiviral agents and can provide rapid support for these studies.
